UPDATES ON CHIEF JUSTICE RECRUITMENT IN KENYA
The chief justice interview began with a lot of drama as there were a lot of different candidates with voluptuous decorated achievements on their Curriculum vitae.The first person Hon Mr Justice Chitembwe Said Juma was humble and proceeded to explain further on his judgments and at some point breaking down into tears when explaining on justice in Kenya.He had been accused of corruption claims but however later acquitted.It was followed by Professor Mbote who as much as was a legal scholar managed to answer questions while however at some point she was answering her owns things when compared to the question asked.Hon Lady Justice Koome appeared on the third day and proved to be articulate on answering questions asked by the panelists.The Fourth day involved Judge Marete who demonstrated his expertise from the Muruatetu judgment which had been issued by him.There was also the issue of his conduct within the judicial service commission especially in regards to how he deals with his drive
